Intuitus’ can provide experienced and qualified Programme and Project Managers on a full-time or part-time basis.
The PM will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and successful delivery of an IT-related implementation, integration, or change management programme or project ("project"). Typically the PM's responsibilities will include:
- Developing a Project Initiation Document which confirms the scope of the project and sets out the governance framework, and which includes the first draft of the project plan, a definition of the expected outputs and anticipated benefits resulting from the project, and the initial risk register and issues log;
- Planning the project, pro-actively monitoring progress and reporting progress to the Project Steering Committee;
- Managing the project budget on behalf of the Project Steering Committee and monitoring costs incurred against benefits realised;
- Working with management to identify and allocate appropriate resources to the project;
- Defining a communications plan and managing communications with all stakeholders;
- Managing risks and issues, and undertaking timely and pro-active management of exceptions, slippage and conflicting priorities;
- Ensuring that the delivery of products or services from the project meets the requirements, is of the appropriate quality and is on time and within budget.
Our Programme and Project Management Services are distinct from our Programme and Project Support Services insofar as we recognise that on a day-to-day basis the PM will report to the company’s Project Steering Committee. However, Intuitus' quality of service is assured by the ongoing provision of account management services throughout the assignment.
Intuitus takes care to propose candidates for these roles who not only have the relevant industry and technical skills, but also whose personality and approach is appropriately aligned with the environment in which they will be working.
