Richard is an entrepreneurial Director and consultant with experience in delivering high business growth, both in the UK and internationally, particularly in the financial services, technology and travel sectors. In the 1980s Richard worked for Software Intelligence, rising to become UK Divisional Manager. He was subsequently the founder CEO and then CTO of All-Hotels, the first hotel web site providing real-time reservations and now part of LastMinute and Travelocity. He was also Founder and CEO for Accentor-GT, a start-up technology company, and a Regional Sales Manager for Swisscom, leading the provision of broadband internet services to the hotel and conference industries in Scotland, Ireland and the North of England. Richard has addressed the IOD about the way that companies can successfully embrace and take advantage of technologies to enhance their businesses. He has a BA (Hons) in Combined Arts and was a 2000 Scottish finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
